Travel Roulette
4. Make a big decision by flipping a coin.

I really love this idea. I stewed on it for a long time and was thinking about using it to choose my next destination. I'm still undecided between 3 possible choices so I'd have to do it slightly differently.
Then one day last week I thought: "Travel Roulette"
This has nothing to do with my next country of choice.
Here is how Travel Roulette works:
You go to the airport, head to an airline counter, ask for the cheapest one way flight that day, buy it, and go!
Who knows where you'll go. Maybe only a few hundred miles. Maybe a new country.
Then you spend some time at your new destination. However long you'd like. 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, whatever you feel is good.
You head back to the airport and repeat: "Cheapest one-way ticket please."
It ends when either:
a) You make it back to your starting destination.
or
b) You find a place you never want to leave.
There can be many variations on this game.
- Cheapest International Flight
- Cheapest Domestic Flight
- First Flight That Costs $X (or within some range) <-- I personally like this option because then you can ensure that you head far away. Instead of cheapest flight (which will probably be under $200) you can say "First Flight That Costs $500" and head somewhere further away.
I've heard about people heading to the airport and getting the cheapest return ticket out of dodge, but this is more exciting. :)
